Dr. Virmani Speaks at American Heart Association’s 2024 Annual Scientific Sessions

Dr. Virmani recently attended the American Heart Association’s Annual Scientific Sessions for the year 2024, held at the McCormick Place Convention Center in Chicago, Illinois. This conference is a space for all cardiovascular health care professionals to discuss new scientific practices, late-breaking studies, and research. It is a three-and-a-half-day conference featuring many presentations. At the conference, Dr. Virmani discussed plaque erosion and calcified nodules, and their implications for clinical care. She also compared differences between atherosclerotic lesions in peripheral and coronary arteries.
