Yu Sato Recipient of Inaugural Renu Virmani Research Scholar Award

Congratulations to Dr. Yu Sato who was presented the first Renu Virmani Research Scholar Award on Friday, July 8 in front of his colleagues and family.  The award is given to a CVPath research fellow who shows extraordinary promise for a career in cardiovascular medicine.  Dr. Sato was presented with a plaque and a financial award for this honor.  Dr. Sato has been a research fellow at the Institute since February 2019 and will be completing his fellowship and returning to Japan in August.
